The Management and Staff of Sunset Meadows is committed to providing a safe, clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and pleasant environment in which Senior citizens may live, while providing quick and conscientious response to tenants needs.

Sunset Meadows 1

Sunset Meadows 2

Sunset Meadows 1 was built in 1977 for the senior citizens of Moffat County. In 1983, when Sunset Meadows could no longer accomodate everyone, Sunset Meadows 2 was built across the street. Sunset Meadows 1 & 2 are subsidized and regulated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD). The Moffat County Housing Authority Board is responsible for the management of both buildings. Each building houses 44 apartments, each with a living area, one bedroom and a kitchen.

Total annual income for residents of Sunset Meadows 1 & 2 may not exceed $22,300 for a single resident or $25,500 for a couple.  The rent is charged on a sliding scale based on an individual's income. A security deposit equal to the amount of the first month's rent is required. The pet deposit is $150.00. Applicants must be at least 62 years of age.  Seniors may call or e-mail Sunset Meadows management to obtain more information or to be placed on the waiting list at no obligation.
