Family Resource Centers Program (FRCP)

FRCP was established in 1993 by the 59th General Assembly of the state of Colorado through Senate Bill 131. The purpose of the program is to provide training, technical assistance and grants to establish and maintain family resource centers that provide services for vulnerable families.

-

FRCP currently receives Community-Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (CBCAP) funding from the Administration for Children and Families. The majority of the federal funds received by FRCP are passed through in three-year grant cycles to the family resource centers to aid in child abuse prevention efforts, primarily parent education programming.
