Injury, Suicide and Violence Prevention

The focus of the Injury, Suicide and Violence Prevention Branch of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is reducing intentional and unintentional injuries in Colorado. Epidemiologic data are used to guide development of community and statewide initiatives.

DATA RESOURCES:
The following data resources are used to inform prevention efforts to address the priority injury areas: motor vehicle safety, suicide prevention, older adult fall prevention, prescription drug misuse prevention, child maltreatment prevention and sexual violence prevention.
