Position provides financial oversight, guidance and tracking for all the Emergency Preparedness and Response Division funding. This includes entering budget and expenditure data in the appropriate grants and setting up internal departmental budgets and letting all leadership, program staff aware of status of Grants on an ongoing basis. Works with program and fiscal staff on the review, approval or denial of purchased service agreements and contractual invoices. Provides technical assistance to the division staff and external stakeholders on grant management, polices, procedures and rules. Oversees the division's fiscal staff on contracts, reimbursements, and discrepancies. Provides education and training on procurement policies, procedures and State Fiscal Rules.

Assists with interactions between fiscal and programmatic decision-making processes, remains current and familiar with federal expectations and educates staff on necessary strategic direction.
