Annual Contracts
Each of the 11 RETACs enters into an annual contract with the State of Colorado to provide planning for and the coordination of emergency medical and trauma services in the region when such coordination would provide for better service geographically. C.R.S. 25-3.5-603 establishes minimum funding as no less than fifteen thousand dollars for each Colorado county within a RETAC and seventy-five thousand dollars to each RETAC. Regular reporting on activities and expenditures are deliverables specified in the scope of work, as is attendance at SEMTAC meetings and RETAC forums.
