Pollution Prevention Advisory Board Logo

The Pollution Prevention Advisory Board was created in 1992 to provide overall policy guidance, coordination, and advice to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment on pollution prevention activities.

The board develops pollution prevention goals and objectives; reviews environmental regulatory programs, laws and policies to identify opportunities and incentives; provides direction for pollution prevention outreach, education, training and technical assistance programs; and supports non-regulatory public and private efforts that promote pollution prevention.

In addition, the board administers the Pollution Prevention Grants, Recycling Resources Economic Opportunity Grants and Rebates as well as the Advanced Technology Grants. For more information on these programs, please see the Pollution Prevention Advisory Board Grants and Rebates page.
