Beginning with the 2014 Re-Enrollment process, VFC providers will be required to complete two annual trainings. Vaccines For Children is a program that ensures all Colorado children receive necessary vaccines, regardless of ability to pay.  Childhood and adolescent vaccines are provided at no cost to providers enrolled in the program, who can then offer the free vaccine to qualified children. To determine if your child qualifies, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact your doctor to see if they participate in the Colorado Vaccines For Children program.  If your healthcare provider is a participant, they will be able to determine if you qualify for this program.

  2. If your doctor is not a Vaccines For Children participant or if you do not have a doctor, contact the Local Public Health Agency in the county where you live.  All Local Public Health Agencies in Colorado participate in the Vaccines For Children program and can serve any child who qualifies. Please visit Colorado’s List of Local Public Health Agencies and select your county of residence to identify the location closest to you.
