State Veterans Home logo and bannerHomelake resident and staff

The Colorado State Veterans Center at Homelake was established in 1889 as the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home, providing a peaceful home for aging and disabled Civil War veterans. Homelake, which believes in honoring its residents with compassionate, dignified care, has been preserving memories and honoring veterans from every major war in U.S. history.
