Medical Records

The Medical Record Department of CMHI-FL provides support services associated with patient health care data and information needs.  Customers of the department include patients, providers of care, clinical and administrative staff, and outside sources.  The department manages and controls the medical record and information contained therein for every patient.  The department houses all patients’ medical records onsite in secure permanent files, allowing only authorized personnel to access.  The department acts as a resource to ensure compliance with the HIPAA Privacy Rules.
