Staff Education provides a variety of training programs to meet the learning needs of nurses and other clinical staff. Some of these programs include:

• Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) a treatment designed to reduce self harming behaviors
• Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD) Certified Addiction Counselor Classes
• Broset Risk Assessment, a tool to assess potential for in-patient violence
• Social Learning Program (SLP), a motivational system for therapy and rehabilitation with a token economy
• Comprehensive educational programs to sustain staff competence and knowledge in areas of mental health law, suicide risk assessment, medical records documentation, professional ethics and boundaries and many others
