Comic Ventriloquist Joe Gandelman & Friends

This year, the Fair is offering a discount to K-12 students on both Fridays in lieu of the one day they’ve done in the past. Students will also no longer need to get a ticket from their schools. They just need to show a school I.D. at the gate to receive an $11 all-you-can-ride band, free gate admission and a free fountain drink from Loaf ‘N Jug.
You know the Fair has funnel cake and more funnel cake, but this food stop has a funnel cake that is even more special. Stop by and try their own “Red Velvet Funnel Cake,” as well as “Bloomin’ Onions,” fried green tomatoes and more, just the thing to make a Fair experience.
Pioneer Concession - “Coney’s”
Working to add something extra to the great food at the Colorado State Fair, Coney’s is making its mark with gourmet hot dogs and allows you, the customers, to order each dog any way you want it!
Sophie’s Sidewalk Cafe
Hungry for a special dessert? You’ll want to be when you stop by Sophie’s. This food stop has wraps and salads for people who want healthier Fair food. And for dessert, the cafe sells its own “Fudge Puppies”, which are chocolate-covered Belgian waffles on a stick. Nice!

The 2012 Colorado State Fair will mark the Fair's 140th year as Colorado's premier celebration of agriculture. The Fairgrounds provides nearly $34 million in economic activity to Colorado throughout the year; $29 million of that activity is driven by the annual State Fair event. In addition to showcasing Colorado agriculture, the annual event features one of the country’s largest traveling carnivals, artwork, crafts, food competitions, thrilling rodeo action, a wide variety of food and merchandise booths and a Fiesta Day honoring Colorado's ties to the Hispanic culture.
