Requirements For Making Pet Food Treats

 

Below are the labeling requirements and forms you will need
to complete to register your product in Colorado.

 

1. Labeling Requirements

  • Pet Food Label Requirements
  • Please read this information to understand pet food labeling.
  • Horse treats are different from pet food. These are the requirements for Horse Treat Labels.

 

2. Registration Process

  • Complete a Commercial Feed Registration Application and a Small Package Distribution Report.
  • Fill out a Sole Proprietor/Individual Citizenship Affidavit .
  • Send forms, fees and labels to our mailing address
