District Conservation Technician Program

Tree  A federal, state and local partnership to deliver natural resource conservation technical assistance to private landowners.
  • Open to ALL Conservation Districts in Colorado
  • To preserve or increase conservation technical assistance to landowners
  • Allows applicants to apply for 72.5% cost-share to employ staff to implement conservation
  • Practices/planning on private land
  • Applications are solicited in the summer for the following calendar year

For districts not currently in the program the application deadline is August 24, 2012.

Districts currently in the program must re-enroll by August 17, 2012.
