The Colorado State Veterinarian's Office is responsible for maintaining the health and integrity of the Colorado livestock herd to provide a safe product for the public.
Below are a list of reportable diseases of livestock and equine. If any of these diseases are seen they should be reported to the Colorado USDA Area Office (303) 231-5385 or the Colorado State Veterinarian's Office (303) 239-4161. Any disease of unusual morbidity or mortality that does not fit a normally expected clinical picture shall also be reported.
