Accounting & Administration Divisions

The State Treasury is responsible for paying all warrants (checks) drawn against the state, managing all funds received by state agencies, and transferring funds between instrumentalities of the state when directed by the State Legislature.


The mission of the Accounting Division is to provide quality financial services and information to the department, state agencies, citizens, and other entities through the commitment and involvement of knowledgeable and skilled employees.

Electronic Funds Transfer Information


The State and Federal Government can issue ACH (Automated Clearing House) or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) payments. If you have received a payment and cannot identify what the payment is for or from whom, you can contact the Colorado Department of Revenue, the U.S. Treasury Department, or CDOT at (303) 757-9996.


All of the following payments can be received via an electronic funds transfer (EFT authorization form ). Questions about EFTs and specific payments my be directed to Cindy Johnson at (303) 866-4948. EFT deposits are received by your bank by the 14th work day of each month.
