Hideaway Park Skate Park

The Hideaway Park skate park was built in the summer of 2007 and made a great addition to Hideaway Park. It became so popular with locals and guests that an expansion was put in three years later, adding approximately 6,000 square feet. The skate park is now a total of 14,000 square feet with added space for all levels of skaters and riders.

The expansion was funded by a GOCO grant – Great Outdoors Colorado – and consists of three separate sections. The banks section, complete with “Twinkie” and “love seat,” has unlimited new options for all levels of users. Two new manual pads were also added, giving kids a place to learn grinding tricks. The third part of the addition is the new mini half pipe, which is ideal for kids to learn countless “lip tricks.”
