Campground Rules, Amenities & Fees


We are seeking a few people interested in working at the local campgrounds.  The hours and pay are great.  For further information please contact Keith Thompson at 970.387.5522 or email.  Click here for an application.

 

Camping

 

Camping will be allowed in town at two different locations only - The Depot Campground located at 10th & Cement and The Kendall Mountain Campground located at 14th & Animas.  The campgrounds are open to tents, campers and rv's.  All dogs MUST be on a leash and owners MUST clean up after them.  Dirt bikes and ATVs are not allowed to be riden inside the campground.  Both campgrounds are patrolled 24 hours a day.  For a complete list of rules, amenities and prices please click HERE

    Blue Ribbon Run  2k, 5k and 10k

          When:  8:00am

          Where:  Start and Finish at Memorial Park

          Staging:  10am next to the County Courthouse

     Fireman Water Fight

          When:  Immediately following the Parade

     Old Fashion Picnic

          When:  Immediately following the Water Fight

     Brass Band in the Park

          When:  Noon to 1pm

     Ducky Derby
