Online Payments

Credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover) are accepted giving customers the option to pay for Town fees and charges online.

Please be aware that Colorado.gov charges a non-refundable portal administration fee of $0.75 per transaction plus 2.25% of the total transaction amount.   The Town only receives the amount of the transaction price you are paying, and does not receive any portion of the fees.

It is your responsibility to ensure your payment is made by the due date.  Delays caused by unavailability of any online service does not warrant the reversal of late fees as payments may also be made by other means such as postal mail, pay in person during normal business hours, or outside drop box.

Online payments will normally be processed within five (5) business days of payment during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, excluding holidays.

If you are paying a delinquent notice near the utility service discontinuance date, it is recommended that you contact the Utility Billing Department immediately at 970-586-5331, press 0.  If your payment has not been received in the office, your service will be discontinued until such time that payment is received.

We are currently accepting Online or Over-The-Counter credit card payments for:

 Utilities:

  • Electric and Water Utility Bill payments
  • Residential and Commercial electric deposits
  • Electric service work orders
  • Prepaid water dispenser codes

Division of Building Safety:

  • Division of Building Safety Permit fees (Building, Sign, Roofing, etc)

Town Clerk:

  • Business License Renewals
  • Open Records Requests

If you are applying for a New Business License, please contact the Town Clerk's office for new application requirements at 970-577-4772.  Sole proprietors are required to provide proof of lawful presence per Colorado Statute 18-8-502 annually; therefore, coompleting this transaction reconfirms your status.   Your online payment is verification of compliance with all State and local regulations.  Providing payment does not imply you have completed all forms and requirements to obtain a license.

 Over the Counter payments only:

  • Municipal court traffic fines
  • Parking Tickets

The portal used for this payment method is sponsored by Colorado.gov and Colorado Interactive.  These transactions will include the words "CO GOVT SERVICES" on your credit card statement.

In order to avoid paying the portal administration fees, we still offer our other payment options:

  • Mail your check or money order
  • Checks, money orders, or cash accepted at counter
  • Authorize automatic bank drafting of your electric and water bill at no charge

If you have any questions concerning your payment, please call 970-586-5331, Press 0.
