Food Tax Refund Program

The 2013 Food Tax Refund Program is underway and runs from May 1 through May 31, 2013.

A refund of sales taxes paid on food items is available to "qualifying" residents of Estes Park and the surrounding area who resided within the boundaries of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District and had an income within the low-income guidelines released by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development during the calendar year 2012. 

Residents MUST have also been in one of the following categories during the calendar year 2012 to qualify:

• Resident families with dependent children under the age of 18; or
• Residents who are disabled and received disability income; or
• Residents who are at least 65 years of age

Please carefully read the Application Guidelines to determine if you qualify before filling out or submitting a form.

The Application Guidelines and Forms, Larimer County Human Services Form, and Lawful Presence Form may also be picked up at the Town Hall Finance and Information Window at 170 MacGregor Avenue from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
