Melissa

 

Melissa Westover, Case Manager for Estes Valley Restorative Justice Partnership

 

 

Melissa began with Restorative Justice as a volunteer in 2008. In October of 2010 she began work as Case Manager. Melissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in private practice. Previous to this she has been quite involved in non-profit work through faith-based organizations and education. She currently serves on the Crossroads board of directors, a position she has held for seven years. She is also involved in the arts community through the Oratorio Society, Fine Arts Guild and Vocalease. Melissa holds a BS in Education from Greenville College and an MA in counseling from Denver Seminary.  Melissa is married to Mark and together they have four children.

Community Volunteer Application

 

Facilitator training will be held again in late 2011. Facilitator trainees will learn skills in group leadership, active listening, communication, discernment, reframing, and mediation. Upon completion, participants will be exposed to restorative justice principles and will start a mentoring process to facilitate Community Group Conferences.
