The Town of Estes Park and Estes Park Economic Development Corp. are accepting Requests for Proposal from economic development consultants concerning: Regional Recovery Strategy, Economic Development Capacity Building & Overall Project Implementation. This project will be funded by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration, as described in the proposal packet.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids in an envelope marked:
ESTES PARK TRANSIT HUB PARKING STRUCTURE
 
will be received and opened by the Town of Estes Park, Public Works Department, Town Hall, 170 MacGregor Avenue, Room 100, Estes Park, CO 80517, no later than November 24th, 2014 at 12:00 noon. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above location. A set of bid documents may be obtained after 8:00 AM on November 3rd, 2014 by emailing the following individuals:

The project consists of the following:
  1. A 210-space parking structure and adjacent bus transit hub, both of which serve the existing adjacent Visitor Center. The project site is located at 550 Big Thompson Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517.
  2. Two supported tiers and a slab-on-grade. The facility is designed to support one future level of vertical expansion, same construction type and plan area.
  3. Selective demolition, site work, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, metals, masonry, wood, painting, water-proofing, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire-protection, and landscaping.
 
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation percentage established for this Project is 5.0%
 
A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Town Hall, 170 MacGregor Avenue, Rooms 202 & 203, Estes Park, CO 80517, on November 12th, 10:00 A.M.

Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of seventy-five (75) days after the time fixed for bid closing. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities or technical defects as the best Interests of the Town may be served, and may reject any and all bids, and shall award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as determined by the Town.

Sealed bids for the construction of the Town of Estes Park project entitled “Retaining Wall Replacement – 215 Virginia Drive” will be received at Town of Estes Park, Public Works Department, Room 100, 170 MacGregor Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517, no later than 1:30 P.M., Friday, November 7, 2014. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read. Project consists of removal and reconstruction of approximately 900 SF of gravity retaining wall. Silo Finish scope:
 
Mechanical and Electrical Scopes to be completed by mechanical and electrical contractors under separate contracts.  Work described and be bid in its entirety or in portions outlined in your proposal.  If not bidding entire scope, indicate which item numbers of work you intend to perform.  Please provide cost corresponding to item numbers. 
 
1.       New Mechanical “shelf” to be built to house new furnace. Furnace to be installed in mechanical room, above entrance to mechanical room. 
 
2.       Closet at entry to new conference room and door  (door frame supplied by owner, door to be supplied by contractor to match other doors in project)
 
3.       New hall wall separating existing conference room from new hall to silo conference room and opening in existing stair hall wall. 
 
4.       Drywall on interior of exterior silo second floor walls
 
5.       Drywall ceiling in silo (to be segmented flat surfaces – not curved)
 
6.       Carpet Tile to match conference room carpet
