Elections

 

The Town Clerk is the Designated Election Official for all Regular and Special Municipal Elections.  Regular Municipal Elections are held on the first Tuesday in April of even-numbered years to elect members to the Board of Trustees, and bring forward local ballot questions, when necessary.  Candidates for the office of Town Trustee and Mayor for the Town of Estes Park must:

  • be a United States Citizen
  • be at least 18 years of age
  • be a qualified voter in the Town of Estes Park for at least one year prior to the election date.

 

The Town is not responsible for Special District elections, General Elections, or elections coordinated with the County in November.

 

Larimer County will be conducting the 2013 Coordinated Election. Election and voter registration questions should be directed to 970-498-7820, or visit www.larimer.org/elections.

 

General Information and Important Dates:

 

October 7, 2013 Last day to register to vote
October 15, 2013 First day officials can distribute mail-in ballots
October 29, 2013 Last day to apply for a mail-in ballot if elector wishes to receive their ballot by mail.
November 1, 2013 Last day to apply for mail-in ballot if picked up at a designated election official's office.
November 5, 2013          Coordinated Election (Polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
