Important Update on Voter Registration Deadline -

With the passage of HB-1164, the deadline to register for the upcoming Regular Municipal Election on April 1, 2014, has changed.  The bill decreased the residency requirement from 30 days to 22 days and allows voter registration to occur through the day of the election.  Therefore, the original voter registration deadline of March 3rd has been lifted and citizens may continue to register; however, on-line registration at www.govotecolorado.com can only take place through the 8th day prior to the election, March 24th.  After that time, a citizen may register to vote in person or change their address at the Town Clerk's office at 170 MacGregor Avenue.  Please contact the Clerk's Office if you have any questions regarding registration at 970-577-4777 or townclerk@estes.org.
