Next meeting is Tuesday, April 03, 2012 at 6:00 PM North Routt Fire Station # 2.
WHO WE ARE:
The Steamboat Lake Water and Sanitation District is a Special District governed by the State of Colorado for the purpose of supplying water and waste water services to District members. The District is overseen by a Board of Directors comprised of five Directors. The Directors are volunteers who are elected under the statutes of the State of Colorado, with staggered terms of two to four years.
The District must comply with strict state regulations for water supply and waste water removal. Regular water testing is required by the State with an annual Water Quality Report (CCR) sent to property owners on annual basis. The wastewater plant has a State license that is reviewed every five years. Both facilities are inspected by the State of Colorado on a regular basis.
There are three operating water wells maintained by the District Board, as well as a water treatment plant (on Jupiter) and a sewer treatment (at the base of Willow Creek Pass). An extensive system of water supply and wastewater removal provides distribution and collection. An important component of the water supply system is a fire suppression system in Filings 1 and 2. There are numerous hydrants located in these two areas.
Homeowners Association (www.wcpva.org): The Willow Creek Pass Homeowners Association is a separate entity. It is responsible for all issues regarding road maintenance, snow removal and enforcement of the Association Covenants and By-laws.
