Cadet Areas of Study

The Colorado State Patrol Training Academy offers an invaluable amount of opportunities to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities you will need to be a Colorado State Trooper. In addition to the required 663 P.O.S.T. credit hours of training, you will receive an additional 357.5 credit hours in training that is specific to the Colorado State Patrol. Once you have completed our Academy, 1,020.5 credits, you can easily obtain your Associates degree, click here for more information.

 

Our Academy instructors excel in teaching and will offer you hands on training while sharing their personal experiences with you. Our training will provide you with knowledge and skills that you can only get through our Academy, from our instructors.
