State Stops Mailing Income Tax Booklets
Posted: December 27, 2011
Due to the increase in electronic filings each year and to reduce mailing and printing costs, the Colorado Department of Revenue will discontinue the annual automatic mailing of income tax booklets to taxpayers.
Filing options are available
Printed income booklets and forms will still be provided to participating libraries throughout the state. Booklets will also be available at all state tax district offices as well as all Colorado driver’s license offices.
In recent years, the department has mailed booklets only to those taxpayers who have not made the switch to electronic filing.
