Pay Tax Due
File the Monthly Report of Excise Tax for Alcohol Beverages (DR 0442) along with the supplemental schedules and payment of tax on or before the 20th day of the month following the month in which such alcohol beverages are first sold.
If you do not receive the Monthly Report of Excise Tax for Alcohol Beverages (DR 0442) , you can download the form from our web site or contact us to receive it by postal mail.
Paying by Check
Make checks payable to the Colorado Department of Revenue and include with return.
Paying by EFT
Set up an EFT account first using the DR 5785 or visit the EFT Web site.
A billing notice will be issued whenever:

Payment is not received by the due date.

The taxpayer neglects to completely fill out the excise tax return. All required fields must be filled in even if the sales for a particular type of liquor are zero.

There is a math error on the return.
