A sales tax license is proof that a business is properly registered with the Colorado Department of Revenue. If your business will be selling, renting or leasing tangible personal property, you must obtain a license from the Colorado Department of Revenue. |
You are also required to collect and remit sales tax to the Colorado Department of Revenue. If you have more than one location where sales are made a separate license is required for each location. All licenses must be displayed at a business location and may not be used to obtain personal goods or business assets tax-free.
