Closure of offices for furlough day - April 2, 2010
Colorado Driver's License offices will be closed on Friday, April 2, 2010, due to a furlough of state workers.
The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles will not process applications for driver's licenses and ID cards. In addition, the Division staff will not be available to address issues related to restraints on driver's licenses.
Driver's license offices will close early all of this week. The diminished hours are necessary to avoid overtime payments to workers during a furlough week. Citizens needing driver's license services on those days should plan to arrive early in the day.
There is one additional furlough day coming on Friday, May 28, 2010.
