Division of Motor Vehicle Office Closures - Holiday and Mandatory Furlough Days
Earlier this year, state lawmakers and the governor cut spending and took steps to address a revenue shortfall. Part of the plan involves mandatory unpaid furlough days for most state employees through the end of 2009. The State Title and Registration Office will be closed on the following days:
Wednesday, November 11, Veterans Day Holiday
Thursday, November 26, Thanksgiving Day Holiday
Friday, November 27, Mandatory Furlough Day
Friday, December 25, Christmas Day Holiday
Thursday, December 31, Mandatory Furlough Day
Friday, January 1, New Years Day Holiday
If you have time-sensitive business with the State Title and Registration Section, please plan ahead as registration renewal dates will remain the same.
