Boy Scouts About: The Boy Scouts license plate is a limited issued commemorative plate that will only be issued from July 15, 2009 through June 30, 2016, or so long as the department has the license plates in stock, whichever occurs later. Plates issued within this period may continue to be used after June 30, 2016 until they become damaged, destroyed, lost, stolen or unreadable.
Available For: The Boy Scouts license plate may be issued to trucks that do not exceed sixteen thousand pounds empty weight, passenger cars, motorcycle, or a noncommerical or recreation vehicle.
Who Qualifies: The Boy Scouts license plate may be issued to any person that desires to register their vehicle with the Boy Scouts license plate.
Requirements: None
Fees: A one-time fee of $50.00 will be collected for issuance or replacement of plates.
Number of Plates Allowed: Unlimited.

About: The Carbon Fund group special license plate was created with Senate Bill 08-186. Carbon Fund license plates may only be issued to persons that have been authorized by the Governor's Energy Office via The Climate Trust. A certificate will be issued to each authorized person that is valid for one set (single for motorcycles) of Carbon Fund license plates.
