Salvage Titles

Requirements for Processing

Certificates of title for:

Vehicles that have become salvage
Previously salvaged motor vehicles that have been rebuilt from salvage and made roadworthy

Salvage Vehicle

Any motor vehicle which is damaged as defined by Colorado Revised Statute 42-6-102(17)(6). Titles for these vehicles shall be surrendered to DMV for the record to be marked salvage.
