On March 20, 2014, the Colorado Gaming Commission voted unanimously to approved the following proposed rule changes. These changes will be effective May 15, 2014.
The Division of Gaming is proposing changes to Rule 8, 10, 16, 22 and 23. Changes are being made to Rules 8, 10, 22, and 23 to clarify the handling of dealing irregularities. Changes to Rule 8 also include the promulgation of rules for a new blackjack game, and updates to rules regarding blackjack tournaments and the calculation of AGP for blackjack tournaments that will make Rule 8 consistent with the other table games rules. Changes to Rule 10 are being made to add two recently approved games to the list of authorized types of poker, and updates to some pay tables for three SHFL entertainment games. Changes to Rule 1603 Adjusted gross proceeds computations, are being made to include table games tournaments. Finally, there are several updates and additions to Rules 22 and 23 regarding roulette and craps tournaments.
The rulemaking hearing will take place at the May 15, 2014, Commission meeting at the Golden Gaming office located at 17301 W. Colfax Ave., Suite 135, Golden, CO 80401.
This is to notify you that the Annual Tax Setting Hearings will take place at the Division of Gaming’s monthly Commission meeting on Thursday, April 17, and Thursday, May 15, 2014 beginning at 9:30 am. The hearings will be held at the Golden Gaming Office located at 17301 W. Colfax Ave., Suite 135, Golden, Colorado 80401.
These two dates of hearings will satisfy the stakeholder workshop as required. Any stakeholder may submit written documents and are welcome to attend the tax setting hearings. If a stakeholder wishes to testify in person, or if you will be providing written testimony, the names of the person(s) and/or documentation must be received at the Division of Gaming, Golden Office, no later than 10 days prior to the hearing date.

The proposed rule changes include corrections to typographical errors in rules 834.11 Royal Match 21 and 2317.04 Craps with Super Front Line Winner. New rules are being promulgated for Hit and Run Blackjack, Straight Edge Poker, and Big Raise Stud Poker. New rules for a High Five Poker Progressive game are being added to rule 1017.45 High Five Poker.
