Conviction for any offense with no SR-22 when required

If you convicted of a traffic offense which occurred at a time when you were required to carry SR-22 insurance AND you did not have SR-22 insurance on the date of the ticket, your driving privileges will be revoked for one year from the date of conviction (not violation), regardless of when the conviction is reported to the DMV.

There are no driving privileges that can be granted by the Hearings Division while under this type of action.

You may request a hearing, however the only issues will be whether you were convicted of a traffic offense which occurred while you were required to carry SR-22 insurance, and whether you can prove you had SR-22 insurance in effect on the day of the ticket.
