The Auto Industry Division Licensing Section processes all licensing applications and fees and maintains all records for new motor vehicle/powersports vehicle dealers, used motor vehicle/powersports vehicle dealers, wholesalers, wholesale auto auctions, and salespeople.
The section also issues licenses to motor vehicle/powersports vehicle manufacturers, distributors, manufacturer representatives and buyer agents. The section is also responsible for processing change of class, change of location, additional location, change of name, stock transfer/ownership change, and off-premise permits for dealerships.
