HIT Advisory Group

In June 2010 the State HIT Advisory Group was formed as an informal working group designed to provide expertise and operational support for the State HIT Program.  Key leaders from across the state’s health and human services related departments and programs were selected by the State HIT Program Director to participate in the HIT Program's three-phased approach to conduct a current state assessment to define the state's HIT portfolio, produce a shared future vision, and state enterprise and interoperability plan that is critical to:

  • Ensure collaboration and engagement across the state
  • Provide access to critical systems, personnel, and programs for completion of each phase
  • Provide visibility and support for the effort
  • Provide a point of escalation for key issues and concerns
  • Provide expertise, recommendations, and input into the overall plan

This group meets monthly and is critical for providing key input and feedback on milestones and deliverables to support the State HIT Program.  For a full overview of the HIT Program's three-phased approach and deliverables please visit the main HIT Program page on this site.
