The Colorado Integrated Communications Network is a Voice Over IP (VoIP) solution to replace the legacy voice system and applications. ISC, Inc. was awarded the contract to implement the Cisco solution.

APRIL 2009 PROJECT UPDATE With the upcoming re-procurement of Wide Area Networking (WAN) connectivity statewide and network consolidation efforts, OIT is going to reassess and re-architect our network. As a result, further build-out of CICN will be halted until further notice once we have completed implementation at the following locations: CDHS High Security Forensics Institute in Pueblo, 1570 Grant, and 633 17th Street. Please read the attached document for more specific information and what this means for your agency.

CICN USERS GROUP MEETINGS
The purpose of the CICN Users Group is to disseminate project information and technical requirements and to provide a forum for customers to bring up potential concerns or issues. Meetings were held the last Wednesday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 690 Kipling, large conference room. When the project recommences, meetings will resume and the date and location will be announced.

CICN CALL CENTER GROUP
This group meets immediately following the monthly CICN Users Group with the purpose of focusing attention on the opportunities and issues central to agency IVR and Call Center environments in a VoIP infrastructure. Agencies with IVR and Call Center applications at this time or with plans for them in the future are welcome to participate.
