Innovation is one of the six key priorities in the FY12 OIT Playbook. In order to meet our future state goal, OIT's Office of the Chief Technology Officer is initiating a series of Tech Forums to provide training and demonstrations on best practices and new or emerging technologies. The Tech Forums are intended to seek out innovative solutions that are thought-provoking and forward-looking and are open not only to OIT employees but any interested IT professional in the public sector. The topics will be aimed at showcasing strategic solutions using existing and emerging technologies that align with business needs and may deliver long-term value to the state and its citizens. Read the full Tech Forums Initiative Plan here.
The OIT Tech Forums will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 8:30-10 am (unless otherwise posted), and locations will vary. When possible, web and audio conferencing will be made available to allow for statewide remote participation. Some forums will have limited participation due to space or other circumstances and will require participant registration in advance with seating offered on a first come, first serve basis.
