Audits and Reports
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act requires an unprecedented level of transparency and accountability for the use of public dollars. To that end, audits and reports reviewing Recovery Act funds and impacted programs at the federal, state and local levels are underway. Colorado is one of 16 states selected by the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) for additional oversight. On this page you will find audits and reports from federal Inspector General's (IGs), the GAO and the Colorado State Auditor's Office (OSA) for Colorado-related programs even if they are not overseen by state government. If possible we will also post audits from third party contractors and local entities.
Similar to data on the rest of Colorado's Recovery website, the information provided here represents the best currently available but is not intended to be comprehensive. It will updated as we become aware of new reports and they become public.
