A bottom-up approach to economic development

The first and only priority of OEDIT is the retention and creation of jobs across the state. To that end, we are building the strategy for the office on the foundation of the Colorado Blueprint, developed through the bottom-up process. OEDIT has long been an conglomeration of 25 years of programs in search of a strategy. The Colorado Blueprint has given Colorado a framework to build a comprehensive economic development plan that aligns existing efforts--within OEDIT and across our community of partners--and identifies opportunities for growth and focused investments. We continue to welcome your input and guidance as we work to enhance the stability, growth and global competitiveness of the Colorado economy.
