Business Incentives and Financing Programs

Low taxes, a fair and accessible regulatory environment, and low business costs foster Colorado's favorable business climate.

The state of Colorado and local governments throughout the state provide incentives focused on job creation, employee training, expedited permitting, licensing and infrastructure improvements, local property tax abatements, and targeted industry tax relief. These incentives are granted on a case-by-case basis depending on the type of company, the number of employees, wages, and location of the project. Additional incentives are available to companies that locate in an Enterprise Zone or other special investment zone.

Please see the business incentive  pages for more information.

Colorado also has a variety of public and private financing options for businesses seeking to raise capital. With a robust private investment community and numerous, well-funded public financing programs, Colorado companies never lack for the financial resources they need to start and grow their business.
