CoverColorado is a nonprofit organization that provides individual, major-medical health insurance to eligible Colorado residents who were denied access to affordable health insurance because of pre-existing medical conditions or individuals who are considered HIPAA eligible.

Oversight of the conversion of premium tax credits to cash for this program was transferred to the Colorado Division of Insurance by the state legislature in 2005 (HB 05-1060).
