Nursing Facility Provider Fee Advisory Board (PFAB)

In recognition of the importance of stakeholder participation in our provider fee programs, the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (the Department) has established the Nursing Facility Provider Fee Advisory Board (PFAB). The PFAB involves the community in the decision-making process regarding the Nursing Facility Provider Fee program.

The PFAB serves as a forum where the Department and the stakeholder community can discuss the Nursing Facility Provider Fee program. The PFAB will explore alternative modeling options and approaches to improving and maintaining the program. The PFAB serves as a major output and input channel as members will carry information to and from the larger stakeholder community.

The PFAB is comprised of community volunteer members who are familiar with the Nursing Facility Provider Fee program and reflect the diverse interests of the stakeholder community.

The PFAB members will meet regularly to receive updates, and to review and comment on plans and activities relating to the ongoing development and administration of the provider fee program.
