Health Care Reform Resources
Enacted in 2010, the Affordable Care Act (health care reform law) mandates comprehensive reforms that have broad impacts on those with and without health insurance.
In January 2013, Governor John Hickenlooper announced that Colorado will expand Medicaid coverage to more Coloradans. Additionally, Colorado will run its own health insurance marketplace, Connect for Health Colorado, allowing individuals who do not qualify for Medicaid to receive financial assistance to purchase health insurance coverage for themselves and their families.
