State MAC Lists Information
Effective September 23, 2011, the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing implemented a new pharmaceutical reimbursement methodology.
The links below include the State Maximum Allowable Cost (MAC) information for Non-Rural and Rural Pharmacies.
- The name of the link identifies the effective date of the pricing. The list includes detailed information regarding each drug.
- The list will be updated weekly as the Department received updated price information.
- Drugs that have a price change from the previous week will be highlighted on the new report.
Note: The report only identifies State MAC prices. In order to determine the Wholesale Acquisition Cost (WAC) that will be reimbursed for a drug, pharmacies should contact their current vendor and should continue the process that is currently used with that vendor to inquire about a WAC price.
Note: NDCs that are not currently priced are designated with an asterisk (*) in the cell where the rate is usually listed. For those NDCs currently without a rate, please consider using a comparable drug as an alternative or contact ACS at 800-365-4944.
