Medicaid Infrastructure Grant Committees
The Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) is a grant awarded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. It supports the implementation of the Medicaid Buy-In Program for Working Adults with Disabilities (Adult Buy-In) and the enhancement of employment options for people with disabilities.
The Department has developed a stakeholder advisory committee, known as the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant Steering Committee, along with four work groups, whose purpose it is to advise the Department on the development of the Adult Buy-In and on initiatives to improve the employment infrastructure for people with disabilities around the state.
Committee appointees represent the following stakeholders:
• Behavioral and physical health providers
• County technicians
• Clients
• Client advocacy organizations
• Employers and employment support specialists
