Electronic Health Records Provider Incentive Program
Federal legislation, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, encourages adoption of Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) technology in documenting patient care. The legislation allows incentive payments for eligible Medicaid providers for the implementation and meaningful use of Health Information Technology (HIT). Colorado is working to implement the EHR Incentive Program. This Web site is designed to provide you information regarding the program.

Program Update: The Department is in the process of implementing the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, in accordance with the State Medicaid Health Information Technology Plan.
The Department anticipates the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program implementation timeline to be as follows:
