The Benefits Collaborative, includes a public comment period where feedback is solicited benefit coverage standard proposals before the benefit coverage standards are submitted for approval. Public input is an essential part of the benefit coverage standard development process. A public notice detailing the open and close dates of the public comment period is sent to public meeting participants and is posted below.

Colorado Medicaid strongly encourages all interested individuals–especially clients, providers, and families–to express their views on policy proposals through the public comment process. Benefit coverage standard proposals are widely distributed for public comment prior to final implementation.
