SB 07-211 Covering all Children Advisory Committee
Senate Bill 07-211 25.5-1-202 (2) (a) created an advisory committee to the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing to plan and oversee the implementation of a plan to provide health coverage for all low-income children in Colorado by the end of 2010.
As an advisory committee working in partnership with the Department, the committee invites advocacy groups, stakeholders, and the public to speak at monthly meetings to issues related to enrollment barriers for children and families in Medicaid and CHP+.
The mission of the SB 07-211 Advisory Committee is to develop and advocate for the implementation of a plan that will cover any child who cannot afford, obtain, or access health coverage. The goals of the committee are to improve outreach, enrollment and retention in Medicaid and CHP+ and to ensure sustainability of mission for covering all children.
