The Medical Services Board of the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing was established by statute effective July 1, 1994.  The Board is comprised of eleven members with at least one member from each congressional district and no more than six members from the same political party. Members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. It is the responsibility of the Medical Services Board to promulgate the rules that govern the Department's programs.

Medical Services Board meetings are open to the public.  Reasonable accommodations for the meetings will be provided upon request for persons with disabilities.  Please contact the Board Coordinator at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting if you need special arrangements.
