The Colorado Legislature allows the Department to contract with managed care organizations to provide care to Medicaid clients. Information about what is allowed can be found at Section 25.5-5-401 et. seq. C.R.S. Any RFPs issued as a result of this authority are posted in the  State BIDS  (Bidding Information and Distribution System).
